February 2010 Newsletter
Next Meeting: Thursday February 18th 2010
At the Cracked Claw Restaurant in Urbana Md.
If you look closely at the picture above, you can see a Corvette hibernating in its cave during a winter blizzard. The unnamed photographer kept a safe distance and was very careful not to disturb the sleeping animal.
President Brown took control of his first meeting on January 21st. There was a big snow on the way that same night and since Prez Brown takes care of our state roads, he had to conduct the club business quickly. The good thing is there really isn’t many Corvette related topics to discuss this time of year.

Kentucky Senator Files Bill to Name Corvette Official State Sports Car
State
Senator Mike Reynolds, D-Bowling Green, has filed legislation (Senate
Bill 111) designating the Corvette as the official state sports car
of Kentucky.
The Corvette’s role in Kentucky’s
manufacturing and tourism industries make it a natural choice for
“official sports car of Kentucky.” Warren County is the
home of the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant and the
National Corvette Museum.
